Untitled

Got this sometime back.

"im jealous.
to see you moving on
and doing things for others better compared to me.
make me wanna have you back in my life."

chinese new year is coming, yet i don't feel excited, happy or eager for that day to come.
for i know this year it will be very different.
it would not be as fun as how it used to be.
its gonna be dull and boring and just another passing day.
i wish i can fly off to some remote island and just stay there.
tiger year is a good year? maybe, too soon to tell.
you judge.

All the relationship we know are based on a foundation of lies and mutually accepted delusion. As we drive along this road called life, a girl will find herself lost at times. And when that happens, she has to let go, buckle up, keep going and walk tall in life.

Easier said than done, no? For those that have gone through this, you will understand this feeling but remember, you are not alone.

take time to reminiscence and find what you are looking for, its never too late

Just got back from watching Valentine's Day Movie Screening. February 14th, Valentines Day, is not a national holiday, but it is one of those days that must be celebrated. There are "special someones" in your life who expect to receive romantic gifts from their lovers. Commercialism has put a tremendous amount of pressure on men to give their lovers a romantic day with all the trimmings. Women are under pressure to have a man, or they feel desperate and unloved. The Movie Valentines Day follows the lives of several couples during this day. Their stories are told through the interconnections they have with each other. Some will find romance in their relationship, and others will feel the heartbreak of ending a relationship. In this Russian roulette world of finding love, everyone in the film is asking for advice on how to find and keep true love.

This movie is acted by many many too many hot actors and actress. Although it seems weird to be so soaked up with all the romance at this moment because I always think that Valentines day is overrated but somehow, i have always wanted to watch this movie. And now I'd, thanks to CinemaOnline. Somehow i find that , you should not have a special day just to show your love to that special someone, be it your husband/wife, bf/gf, family or friends. You should show it every single day and not just on special occasions like this. Love is beyond words and we do not need a date to get us in the mood. Its all about the feeling.

Love is in the air....la la la....love is in the air....

Bradley Cooper, Julia Roberts

Jessica Alba

Taylor Swift, Taylor Lautner

Queen Latifah, Anne Hathaway

Taylor Lautner, Emma Roberts

Jennifer Garner, Ashton Kutcher

Patrick Dempsey, Jamie Foxx, Jessica Biel and etc..

Happy Valentines Day in advance to all you lovers out there. This year I will be celebrating Valentines Day with my family and friends. If you are single at this moment, do not be sad or down. You do not need your other half to celebrate this special day. You can always count on your close friends and family. Always remember, Valentines Day is not only meant for those who are in a relationship. No relationship is more stable/ better compared to your relationship with family and friends. They are the one who are always there for you no matter what. So, we should not single them out, should we?

Singapore: Part 2

After meeting and lunch the next day, we decided to play touristy. We went to the Singapore Visitors Center and booked a City Tour. It cost S$ 19.90 per person for 2 days. Such a good deal don't you think? We were so happy that the price is reasonable and they have 4 different routes to choose from. So happily we waited. The girl said that we can still catch the 1pm bus. Tick tock tick tock...time passes and it is already 1.30pm and the bus is no where to be seen, FOLs. I thought SG's transportation system is very good here. Hmmm...a lil disappointed but still excited. While waiting for the bus, we met an English girl, Jay who is taking the same tour as us. We chatted and Jay is actually an English teacher working in SG. So easy eh? they can teach English just like that. The bus came not long after that and guess what i saw at the rooftop? 2 hot guys!! I think i am lucky that way, I always get to be on a tour with hot guys :P lol...

okay this time i decided to share with you the pic :)

wanted to take the picture of the trees......NOT! :P

the younger brother, nope that girl is not his gf ;)

yes, i am promoting Palawan in SG

omg..i am so so tanned! =(

We went to Hard Rock Cafe in SG and coincidently it is Kumar's night. Kumar is the Asian version of Russell Peter. She/He is super funny. According to Kumar, there is 2 things you must see when you are in SG. First is the Merlion (half mermaid + half lion) and the next is Kumar (half woman + half man).

The next day, before checking out, we did some shopping in Orchard Road. Took the 'Great Trolley' (a free ride to anywhere in Orchard street) and stopped in every single shopping mall along the streets. By noon, we checked out, had lunch and headed back to KL.

Did not manage to see much of Singapore but will definitely be back to conquer Sentosa side. Anyone wanna go?

au revoir~

Singapore: Part 1

Yes you saw it right. S-I-N-G-A-P-O-R-E!! Finally i landed my foot in our neighboring country Singapore. It feels great. Thou Singapore is only 317km away from us, this is my very first trip there. Semi work semi vacation :)

A friend of mine and I decided to take a bus coach instead of flight. We do not wish to go to the hassle of waiting for the plane, checking-in and stuff. The possibility of the flight being delayed is 50% while taking a coach, is none. And we were right! The coach is amazing and on-time. If you plan to take a coach to Singapore, be sure to take this. It is a business class coach and it is very comfortable. The best part about the coach is the in-flight entertainment. They have plenty of ps2 games as well as 10-12 selections of dvds for you to watch. By the time we reached Singapore, i refused to leave the coach because the movie i was watching has not ended wtf! Check out the pics below:

individual screen

the game console also works as a remote controller, pillow is provided too

it comes with a meal, mineral water and a hot drink

Upon reaching, we quickly checked-in and freshen up and within minutes, we are out roaming on the streets. We would not wanna waste any minute...hahaha so kiasu right? Better to make the most out of this trip right? Well like they said, when you are in Singapore, do what the Singaporeans do :P

We stayed in Orchard road and oh my....there are uncountable shopping malls there...all lined up along the streets and opposite of each other! LV, Chanel, ZARA, miu miu all are screaming "come get us"!! Its madness trust me. The temptations...sighh. Since I just got back from Philippines not long, and am definitely broke at the moment, so i bypassed the shops. Can't afford anything at the moment... and luckily I did not bring much SGD with me...or else...DAMAGED!

the view of the hotel pool from my room

Took the MRT and headed to Chinatown. Not too sure why, but we kinda heard it is one of the tourist attraction, so out of curiosity, we went. The MRT are jammed packed with humans all heading everywhere. We spent 15 minutes queuing up for the tickets. And once in the MRT, we could hardly breathe...its like millions of sardine in a can! I guess Singaporeans depend highly on their commuter system. The MRT system thou packed, it is very punctual and it brings you to the entire Singapore.

We definitely chose the wrong time and day to head to Chinatown. Its only days away from CNY and thus you can see many people are buying last minute biscuits and decorative items here. We could hardly walk and keep bumping into one another, brushing shoulders and so on under the scotching hot sun!

After making one big round, we decided to head back to Orchard Road. Most of the stalls in Chinatown sells similar goodies. No, we did not get anything there. It is too crowded to even stop and shop. We had a simple dinner in Food Republic, Wisma Atria before camwhoring in the streets :) Okay it was more like me camwhoring as my friend is camera shy. So not fun lo camwhore alone!

On the way back to the hotel, we spot a bar nearby. We decided to check it out and try the Singapore Sling. I read in Sharon's blog that Singapore Sling is a must try. So Singapore Sling it is! They have live band and the band is from Philippines. I think most of the Filipino is good at singing and if you are guessing they must have been singing their remix songs, you are right.

Not long after that, we headed back to the hotel because we have a long day ahead the next day.

Philippines: Palawan Part 2

continued from previous post....

 in the cave-its too dark

After the Underground river tour and lunch at the Sabang beach, we headed for the city tour. City tour consists of the crocodile farm, baker's hills, local souvenir and gift shops, cathedral and some nice view places.

After the city tour, we headed for dinner at one of the famous restaurant in Palawan 'Ka Lui'.  I would say the food is so so but the environment is very cozy and homely.

And before we know it, the night draws to an end. Its time to bid Palawan good bye and the very next day, we have to catch a morning flight back to Manila and then KL. It was definitely a memorable and exciting trip. I am sure it will not be the last time and I will visit Philippines again soon, hopefully.

goodbye Philippines!

Philippines: Palawan Part 1

On the third day, we left to Puerto Princesa where the famous island of Palawan is located. The security in the airport is very strict. We had to take off our shoes and belongings and had a body check by the security. I have never seen such tight security in Malaysia. Why is that? Do Malaysia even care about terrorist and so on?  Guess not judging by our so-loose-and-free security in the airport. Our flight to Puerto Princesa was delayed an hour, by the time we reach Palawan is almost 6pm. We directed our tour guide to quickly bring us to Baywalk to catch the sunset...

the largest Christmas tree in Philippines

After snapping hundreds a few pictures, we headed to our hotel to check in. It is situated quite deep in some dark alley. Its quite scary as they have limited street lights. However, our pension is a huge bungalow turned into pension.

good morning!

After freshened up, we headed back to Baywalk for some street foods. The main transportation system in Palawan is tricycle. It fits 3 people max and it will only cost less than 30pesos per tricycle.

 me and sharon

tzeko is depressed because he always have to take picture alone..lol

We had so many different type of food that night. From burgers to corns, flavoured fries, chicken intestine, pork sausages, pork bbq....etc. Check out the pictures.

We were so bloated by the night ends and the two monkeys decided to rent a bicycle instead of walking around. Tzeko and Sharon wanted to look good in their swim wear so they decided to each take a bicycle. They asked me to join but little do they know that, i actually do not know how to ride a bicycle. *ashamed* But hey, i am a typical city girl! So, they took pity on me, and we settled for a tricycle instead. And god knows what happen after that. It was definitely a ride to remember. Try picturing us riding on a roller coaster with non-stop laughter and screams. LOL yeah thats us!. Click *here* to find out what happen in Sharon's blog. A must read i tell you!

me trying to ride the tricycle, its not so hard after all....

see? im expert...riding while camwhoring :P

they are exaggerating...my ride was smooth...

Haha...what a night! After the "ride", we were all tired and sweaty...its a great workout after a heavy meal. Its time to head back to the hotel and have a good rest.

The next day, we were up early all eager to go to the Underground River Tour. This place is listed as one of the 7 wonders of the world. Its totally amazing...see for yourself :P

Boogey down in Manila

*updated: Read Sharon's version of our clubbing experience HERE*

i got a feeling.....that tonight's gonna be a good night...

On the second night, we went clubbing at Lencore (formerly known as Embassy). We were informed that there will be plenty of hot guys and rich and famous people. We got excited, so Lencore is a must to visit! And truth to be told, there are a lot, A LOT of cute and hot guys in the club. And i think i saw Rovilson Fernandez in the VIP area just in front of me dancing and taking pictures. The girls are hot too but I wasn't paying much attention. Maybe Zeek was and he can tell you all about it. Halfway in the club, he excused himself with the excuse of going to the bathroom. Hmm...come to think of it..yeah maybe he went and search for pretty hot girls..and ditched us..hahaha.

But seriously, if girls goes to a club with a guy, the others guys will not hit on you. Once Zeek left to the bathroom, a guy came and approached us.. He was asking politely if we have any other friends or guys around. And he asked if he can befriend us. Such a gentlemen, don't you think. But i didn't really talk less paying attention to him so, I let Sharon layan him while i continued dancing..hahaha...what? Its kinda hard to chat in a noisy club okay...

If you are rich, the club will treat you like a king. All you need is just flashed your USDsss...and they will grant you all the access. They even have personal bouncers just to accompany you to the bathroom. In short, you can get anything at all in Philippines if you have the money. Sigh...thou many Filipinos thinks I am a Korean, too bad I dont have USDsss to flash =(

cover charge: 500 pesos with 3 drinks (38rm)

can you spot all the hot looking people already?

the crazy party ppl

It was indeed a good night out! We had so much fun dancing to the English and Tagalogish version of Pitbull, Beyonce, Akon..etc. The club is super posh and full of the rich and famous.

Next up is Palawan. Stay tune! =)

Philippines: Manila Part 3

okay..here come the touristy part. We tried to cramped everything in and visit as much places as possible in the short amount of time. Beware, a lot of vain camwhore pictures and a loooooog post ahead!

Cathedrals

Roman Catholicism is the predominant religion and the largest Christian denomination, with estimates of 80% of the population belonging to this faith in the Philippines. The country has a significant Spanish Catholic tradition, and Spanish style Catholicism is highly embedded in the culture. You can see many Cathedrals in manila and throughout the whole country. Their cathedrals are beautiful, highly maintained, and taken care of.

Simultaneous Japanese surprise attacks on Pearl harbor and the Philippines led to war. Japanese forces conquered parts of Asia but were set back in the Philippines islands. Fierce defenses by U.S. Army Forces Far East (U.S. Army, Philippine Army and Philippine Scouts) held off Japanese assaults for six months, delayed the Japanese timetable and enable the start of U.S. offensive operations in the Pacific.

Fort Santiago

Walk into one of the oldest Hispanic stone fortresses in the country. Fort Santiago is located in the northern part of the walled city.

Museum- forgotten what's the museum name :(

We were walking in Intramuros and we stumble upon an antic building. Being the kepoh us, we walked in and took some pictures. There were actually a museum located inside the building. Unfortunately, we can't take pictures inside the museum so we camwhored outside instead.
